West Derby’s Almond Restaurant & Bar is planning to expand its presence in the village.
The eatery has applied to convert a neighbouring unit into a food and drink space and knock it through to the existing restaurant.
Subject to planning permission from Liverpool City Council, Almond is looking to move into the vacant ground floor space of 18 Mill Lane, which was previously occupied by the beauty parlour Powder Me Pretty.
If approved it won’t be the first time Almond Restaurant & Bar, which first opened in 2009, has expanded.
In 2015 a five-figure sum was invested in the venue, as Almond acquired an upper floor of its 16 Mill Lane site and increased its capacity to 70 covers.
YM Liverpool has contacted Almond Restaurant & Bar for comment.
