Botanical Garden back with new street food offering

The Botanical Garden is set to reopen in the Baltic Triangle with a new Moroccan street food offering.

‘Ta’amiya’ is the first venture from Michael Carey, former head chef at Rodney Street eatery Puschka, and will include exotic-sounding options including Murguez meatballs, the Marrakesh Express and the falafeldog.

The returning Botanical Garden still retains its focus on gin-based beverages with a special menu of bespoke drinks available including a range of cocktails.

Ta’amiya will take up the space vacated by FINCA, which served up Cuban street food at the New Bird Street venue last summer.

The Botanical Garden is back for its third year on 25 March and weather permitting, will be open every day through the spring, summer and into the autumn from midday – 11pm.

According to the organisers, during the course of the season there will be some special surprises including musical showcases and occasional guest DJs.
