An Art Deco style building in Liverpool city centre could be transformed into a café and restaurant under new plans.
Applicant Richard Reynolds wants to turn the substantial property on Tarleton Street into the newest branch of ‘Love To Eat’.
The café already has branches in Ormskirk and Southport, as well a number throughout North Wales.
A document included with an application submitted to Liverpool City Council states that no external alterations are proposed with the building’s original render finish, details and shopfront to be retained.
Love to Eat opened on London Street in Southport in April 2016 on the site of the former Café Varley.
The eatery features a range of locally sourced ingredients and a selection of teas from specialist makers ‘Teapigs’.
