Calvin Harris, Tiestö and Avicii to headline Creamfields 2016

The line-up for this year’s Creamfields festival has been announced.

Calvin Harris, Tiesto and Avicii are some of the big names heading to the event when it returns this summer.

Taking place between 25-28 August in Daresbury, Cheshire, organisers say more acts are still to be announced.

Friday night’s line-up includes Armin Van Buurin, Andy C and Wilkinson. Meanwhile, joining Avicii on Saturday are Creamfields alumni Martin Garrix and Nicky Romero while Sunday’s proceedings will feature a jam-packed line-up of Calvin Harris, Annie Mac, Duke Dumont, Tiestö and Fatboy Slim.

Every August bank holiday 70,000 of the world’s biggest fans of electronic music gather at the Daresbury festival to witness the biggest names in dance music.

Usually a three-day event. this year will see the festival last four days following license approval earlier this year . Other firsts for 2016 include the addition of seven new arenas to cater for the 200 acts on this year’s roster.
