Plans to open a casino at Hilton Liverpool City Centre in Liverpool ONE have been revealed.
Proposals include the conversion of a disused ground floor bar area at the prominent hotel and a small extension.
According to a planning application submitted to Liverpool City Council by Lakis Michaelides from Let’s Bet Holdings Ltd, the new casino would create 50 full-time and 10 part-time jobs.
One of the directors of Let’s Bet is Christos Papaloizou, chairman of London-based Papa Architects which is responsible for designing a range of developments across the capital.
The new casino would be accessed from Thomas Steers Way and from the existing hotel bar area.
The current use of the application site is described as a nightclub – it’s unclear whether this is the Playground nightclub.
