A former student accommodation complex is being brought to the market in South Liverpool with potential to be redeveloped into homes.
University of Liverpool’s Dale Hall, located within the Mossley Hill Conservation Area, previously provided accommodation for 265 students but is now being offered as a development opportunity having become ‘surplus to requirements’.
The 8.7-acre plot of land comprises five buildings and agent CBRE is inviting offers on the site by 12pm on 22 July on a subject to detailed planning basis.
CBRE has prepared a detailed appraisal of the site, which can be accessed from Elmswood Road, following discussions with Liverpool City Council to agree on the main principles of an indicative scheme layout for new homes.
Bernadette McQuillan, director in the national land and development team at CBRE, says: “We are pleased to bring to market Dale Hall, providing potential developers with a unique opportunity to transform what is currently a redundant campus into a high quality development to blend seamlessly with the character of the locality.
“Given the site’s positioning in one of Liverpool’s most exclusive suburbs, Dale Hall lends itself ideally to the development of new homes and we are looking forward to entering into discussions with interested parties following the 22 July.”
