The developer has been added to two contracting frameworks in the area which are looking to further their success in delivering thousands of homes.
The Cutting Edge Framework, which was first launched in 2011 and as created more than 5,000 new homes in five years, is expected to see Galliford Try take on new Merseyside projects as it operates on behalf of housing associations including Wirral Partnership Homes, Symphony Housing Group, The Riverside Group and Regenda.
Progress Housing Group, Together Housing Group and Sovini also form part of this partnership.
The Innovation Chain North West (ICNW), which has delivered 4,000 homes across the whole of the North West region since 2012, could also be lining up new Liverpool City Region schemes as it prepares to develop £500m of new housing from 2016 to 2020.
ICNW will operate on behalf of 30 housing associations across the whole of the North West, including region-wide lead member Great Places Housing Group which has a presence in Liverpool.
Darren Leary, development director at Galliford Try Partnerships North West, says: “Delivering through these frameworks is a key element in our growth strategy. As well as allowing us to develop our relationships with housing association partners and help build sustainable communities, securing these opportunities crucially gives us the platform to further accelerate our mixed tenure offer throughout the region.”
