Over 60 new acts have been added to the line-up for July’s Liverpool International Music Festival 2016 (LIMF).
Stand-out names in the second wave of artists announced for the three-day Sefton Park bash include Wretch 32, Buzzcocks, Craig Charles, WSTRN and local band Clean Cut Kid.
Other notable additions include Stealing Sheep, The Vyrll Society, Adele Roberts (BBC Radio 1), Greg Wilson, Ady Suleiman plus the 20 acts that make up the LIMF Academy Class of 2016 as well as the new LIMFxLaces Out! stage featuring a selection of hip-hop DJ’s.
The free event returns to Liverpool for the fourth time this summer between 21-24 July with Sigma, the Wombats, Lianne La Havas, Kwabs, Netsky, Ms. Dynamite, John Power and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, alongside many more, also set to appear.
It was revealed in March that LIMF would be joining forces with the Liverpool Arab Arts Festival (LAAF) to highlight Arab music and culture on the Sunday of LIMF.
Sefton Park Palm House will host LAAF’s Family Day and will showcase the best in Arab music including award-winning Swedish group Tarabband.
Festival goers will also be able to enjoy an Arabian Souk, traditional cultural merchandise and cuisines, plus family friendly activities including storytelling, Henna and children’s crafts.
