LightNight Liverpool highlight: Renowned pianist heading to Open Eye Gallery

Music fans will be in for a treat this Friday (19 May) as LightNight Liverpool brings a special performance to Open Eye Gallery.

The ‘Flow2: The Pioneers’ event will see world-renowned pianist David Braid perform newly commissioned classical-jazz numbers exploring time and landscape.

David will be joined by the innovative 13-piece Sinfonia UK Collective orchestra, which is conducted by Liverpool-born Lee Tsang.

The show, which will take place at the Mann Island-based photography gallery on Liverpool’s waterfront from 7-10pm, is one of more than 100 events forming this year’s after-hours cultural extravaganza.

A family friendly performance, is one of Your Move’s top picks from this year’s packed programme of activities, performances, talks, tours and exhibitions, which follows LightNight’s theme of ‘time’.
