A feast of food and family fun is heading to Sefton Park this weekend as the Liverpool Spring Festival returns.
Foodies will have the chance to pick up tasty artisan produce, gifts and artwork from creative Merseyside talent along with fine food and drink during the 28-29 April event.
As well as a food court serving up international street food delights, craft beers and gins, there’ll also be a marketplace filled with homemade jams and chutneys to traditional sweets.
Meanwhile a programme of workshops will run throughout the festival, providing attendees with tips on gardening, exercise, relaxation and vegan and vegetarian cookery classes.
The event is also set to feature attractions for young visitors, including a vintage fairground, arts and crafts and a pop-up farm providing an opportunity to get up close to animals and birds of prey.
Ahead of the ticketed event, Liverpool Spring Festival event manager Isabella Kantor says: “We’re so excited about bringing such a huge celebration of spring to Sefton Park.
As we prepare to bring back some of our most popular attractions, we’re also looking forward to hosting some new additions at the event such as the pop-up vegan and vegetarian cookery school and our highly entertaining sheep show, which are both making their debut at this year’s event.
“It’s set to be a fantastic weekend and with so much going on there really will be something for everyone. We’re looking forward to seeing visitors soaking up the atmosphere and enjoying the fun.”
