A new B&M store will be built in North Liverpool as part of the ongoing ‘Project Jennifer’ regeneration scheme.
Expected to open to shoppers in spring 2017, the branch will incorporate a garden centre alongside a wide variety of products including food, health and beauty, toys and electricals.
The store, which will be one of the chain’s larger outlets, will create more than 60 local jobs as it forms part of St. Modwen’s mixed-use development on Great Homer Street.
The B&M shop will form part of the Great Homer Street District Centre, which is being developed by St. Modwen in partnership with Liverpool City Council, and construction is due to start in September.
A B&M spokesperson says: “We’re feeling really positive about the creation of new jobs for local people and we hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store.
“We are all really excited to get the doors open and welcome our new customers through the door next year.”
