Two new pop-up food and drink events are set to launch in the Baltic Triangle area of Liverpool city centre.
Oktopus will take up temporary residence at Black Lodge Brewery on Kitchen Street throughout February and March, while Disco & Dinner is coming to Greenland Street’s Constellations.
Taking place this Friday (17 February), Disco & Dinner combines “disco music with good food, wine tasting and entertainment”.
Chef to the stars Sky Glover and former Garlands manager Chris Griff will host the event, with Saffy Von Graff providing the wine tasting sessions and burlesque-style entertainment, sharing the bill with DJs and psychic bingo presented by Lady Sian.
Meanwhile, Oktopus is holding six weeks of pop-up dining events throughout February and March before it opens its permanent venue on Hardman Street on 31 March.
The events will showcase Black Lodge’s own-brewed craft beers and pair them with menus devised by Christopher Ineson, the former head chef of Maray and The Clove Hitch.
Christopher says: “We thought it was a great opportunity to use the Black Lodge Brewery to offer a glimpse of what Oktopus on Hardman Street will be about; clean, simple & seasonal cooking with a focus on the highest quality vegetables and seafood, weekly changing menus pairing dishes with beers on sale at the brewery.”
The Oktopus pop-up events every Thursday and Friday from 3.00pm to 10.00pm and Saturday from 12.00pm to 10.00pm. Booking in advance is not essential as walk-ins are welcome.
Constellations advises punters that pre-booking for Disco & Dinner is essential.
