Potential home buyers can explore new Wirral apartments and their panoramic River Mersey views as a special event takes place.
An open day will be held at Mersey View Residence on 11 May to showcase the one and two-bedroom properties that remain available at the development.
A £5.2 million project to transform the site, near to Birkenhead’s Hamilton Square railway station, has been carried out with two thirds of its 67 apartments already sold ahead of completion.
Formerly known as Birchen House, the building was once a HMRC tax office and was acquired by Crossfield Exclusive Developments – a joint venture between Crossfield Group and Exclusive Investments – for £2.1m in 2018.
The Canning Street site also retains parts of the original Grade II-listed Pier Hotel, which dates back to the 1880s.
Ahead of the open day, which will be held from 10am until 2pm, Exclusive Investments’ director David Ayem says: “The transformation of this building is truly remarkable and we are grateful to our construction partners at Crossfield Group for delivering such a high-quality refurbishment.
“Many of the apartments have already been purchased off-plan ahead of completion and we are looking forward to showcasing the development to the wider market now that all works are complete, and the apartments are ready to occupy.
“The response from potential buyers, investors and our neighbours has been extremely positive and we are confident this will become a popular residence and a positive addition to the local community in the heart of Birkenhead.”
