The two-day Positive Vibration festival kicks off today (8 June) celebrating reggae and Jamaican heritage in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle.
A packed programme of activities and workshops for all the family as well as musical acts is lined up for the return of the award-winning event.
Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry & Subatomic Sound System (pictured) and Roni Size are topping the bill of internationally renowned acts for the 8-9 June festivities.
Meanwhile attendees can try their hand at dub poetry classes with Levi Tafari, Jamaican dance classes with Merseyside Dance Initiative, and arts and crafts with Square Pegs.
The Paper Moon will also be on hand with screen printing, and Capoeria For All will provide Capoeira and drum classes.
There’ll also be face painting, a soft play area, a record fair and a host of Caribbean food and drink at the ticketed event.
