Prescot could be getting a Domino’s Pizza

Prescot town centre could be about to get its own Domino’s Pizza takeaway.

Plans have been submitted to Knowsley Council to open a new branch of the American food chain in a former restaurant on High Street.

Applicant DPSK Limited wants planning permission for the change of use of 18 High Street from a vacant restaurant (Class A3) to a hot food takeaway (Class A5).

According to a document included with the planning application, the takeaway would be open daily between 10-1am and will “enable the reoccupation of a vacant unit, bringing employment opportunities to the local area”.

Prescotians nearest Domino’s is currently a branch on Cavendish Walk in Huyton

The application says: “The submitted plans show the proposed layout for the takeaway which will utilise all floorspace within the building.

“The customer waiting area will be situated to the front of the premises, with seating for three persons along the inside of the shopfront.”
