Ready for the Weekend - Six Memos exhibition

Acclaimed European showcase arrives in Liverpool

Work by 20 established and up and coming European artists is on show in St George’s Hall’s The Bridge Gallery from today (11 January) as ‘Six Memos’ opens.

Until 24 February the touring display, which has already been to Poland and Spain, features photography, video, drawing, painting, sculpture and text in response to the work of late Italian novelist Italo Calvino.

There’s still tickets to catch England’s Commonwealth Games–winning netball team go head to head with New Zealand at the M&S Bank Arena on Sunday (13 January).

South Africa will also compete with world champions Australia as the Vitality Netball International Series, part of the Netball Quad Series, takes place ahead of this summer’s Netball World Cup in the city.
