‘Lost Castles’ festivites, popular carnival returns & pop-up circus spectacles
FESTIVAL | Lost Castles brings entertainment across the city region
Spectacular towering cardboard structures will provide the centrepieces for family activities and live performances this weekend.
The ‘Lost Castles’ have been built in all six boroughs of the city region by local communities, and will become a hub of entertainment on Saturday (11 August) before being toppled on Sunday (12 August).
EVENT | Popular community carnival returns
Norris Green Community Carnival will bring fun for everyone to Scargreen Recreation Ground on Shottesbrook Green this Saturday (11 August).
Attractions at the annual event will include live bands, football coaching, relaxing holistic therapies and family entertainment including donkey rides, a bouncy castle and a carousel between noon and 4.30pm.
POP-UP | Circus performers to wow spectators
Liverpool ONE visitors should prepare to be amazed this weekend as international acts bring special pop-up showcases to the complex.
From 7pm on Saturday (11 August) the Bring The Fire Project team will show off its blazing skills on the Terrace, and between 12pm and 4pm on Sunday (12 August) Project Vee will juggle on a giant spinning machine in a Paradise Street performance featuring bright props and music.
