Liverpool’s Shoebox Full of Love appeal will host a “fully inclusive” Christmas party tonight (14 December).
The team behind the initiative, which has been collecting gift boxes filled with essentials for people in need this festive season, is joining forces with Hearts4Homeless for the event.
Hearts4Homeless is a street team which serves up food to homeless people around the city each week.
Tonight’s party will take place at St Luke’s ‘Bombed Out’ Church at 7.30pm and Vorny Redmond, who set up the Shoebox Full of Love appeal, tells Your Move: “We have two choirs, hot food, a dance troupe and just all-round festivities for everybody to come to – it’s Liverpool’s first fully inclusive Christmas party.”
