St Helens rugby club to hold beer and gin festival

A beer and gin festival gets underway tonight (23 March) at Liverpool St Helens Rugby Club.

The three-day LSH Beer & Gin Fest will feature a range of craft ales and gins alongside live music performances.

Confirmed ales on offer include ‘Dirty Tackle’ and ‘Jester Jack’ from Wychwood Brewery, as well as ‘Cheeky Pheasant’ from the George Wright Brewing Company.

The popular Liverpool Gin will also be available across the weekend at the Moss Lane clubhouse.

On Friday (23 March), the veteran’s rugby team will look to entertain the crowds before live music from The Bathtub Gin Band at 8pm. The bar will be open from 6pm until midnight.

The under-9’s team will get things underway on Saturday (24 March) before the 1st XV take centre stage for their match against Hoylake RFC. The bar will be open from 1pm until midnight with Dream Feeder providing musical entertainment.

On Sunday (25 March) the bar will be open from 1pm for customers to sample the remains.

No advance tickets necessary.
