What’s on: Iconic entertainment lined-up at Anfield
After a season of riding high in football tournaments, Liverpool Football Club is now gearing up to welcome some stellar music stars to its famous Anfield ground.
Take That will kick off a new run of concerts at the stadium – the first to take place there in over 10 years – as they bring their ‘Greatest Hits Live’ tour to the city on 6 June.
Expect to see Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald performing all their much loved songs as they celebrate their 30th anniversary.
Then on 19 June, American stadium rockers Bon Jovi will put on a show for fans in Liverpool for the first time in 33 years.
They’ll be joined by special guests Manic Street Preachers during the stop on their mammoth ‘This House is Not for Sale’ tour.
Singer, songwriter and all round megastar P!nk will complete the trio of summer shows on 25 June as she heads to Anfield during her ‘Beautiful Trauma’ world tour.
The ‘Beautiful Trauma’ album has already scored success with a Grammy nomination for the ‘Best Pop Vocal Album’ and, with her reputation for high-octane live performances, P!nk’s gig is tipped to be a winner.
