The Art School Restaurant in Liverpool is planning to start work on a new Champagne and wine bar over the coming weeks.
The acclaimed Sugnall Street eatery has enlisted the help of design team CraveID to come up with a design for the new space, which will go by the name The Art School Cellars.
CraveID is also behind the look and feel of the restaurant, which was launched in September 2014 by chef patron Paul Askew.
Paul, a former director of the city’s nearby Hope Street Hotel and London Carriageworks Restaurant, says: “The initial designs are lovely and I’m really confident we can deliver a very special venue for the city to enjoy the finest Champagnes and wines with paired charcuterie and cheese.”
The restaurant is currently said to be working with its sommelier team to create a comprehensive wine list for the forthcoming establishment.
