House hunters can access property advice this weekend as a special event takes place in the Liverpool City Region.

McDermott Homes will host its first-time buyer weekend on 12-13 January with experts on hand throughout the two days.

A financial advisor will be in attendance at the event, taking place at the developer’s Mulberry Park scheme in Kirkby.

Visitors will be able to explore the three and four-bedroom homes available at the site and find out more about how they can make their first step onto the property ladder.

There will also be information on the schemes that can help first-time buyers, such as the government-backed Help to Buy initiative.

Show homes at the site, located on St Kevins Drive, are open from 10.30am to 5.30pm.
