Launching on Saturday 16 January 2027 - exactly 70 years to the day since the famous Mathew Street venue first opened its doors - '70 Years of The Cavern Club' will chart its journey from a post-war jazz cellar to one of the world’s most iconic live music venues.

A recreation of the Cavern’s famous stage will sit at the heart of the exhibition, which also explores the venue’s continuing role in supporting new music and Liverpool’s status as a world-renowned music city.

The exhibition runs until Sunday 31 October 2027.
