A major new padel, wellness and lifestyle destination is coming to Liverpool.
Club Mona, located on Great Howard Street near the Titanic Hotel, will span almost 40,000 sq ft, combining padel courts with fitness, recovery, wellness and social spaces.
The development will include indoor courts, a gym, studios for HIIT, yoga and Pilates, as well as recovery facilities such as saunas, ice baths and wider wellness treatments.
Founded by brothers Luis, Lloyd and Jordan Stockton, alongside Steven Granite of Applied Nutrition, the project is being developed as a multi-use space for sport, training, work and socialising.
The ground floor of Club Mona will feature eight indoor padel courts alongside a premium lounge and co-working area, café-style social spaces, changing facilities, a dedicated recovery suite complete with hot plunges, cold plunges and sauna facilities and a nutrition, equipment and accessories store.
Alongside its fitness and wellness offering, Club Mona plans to host regular community events, brand activations and social programming designed to create an inclusive and connected atmosphere around the club.
Lloyd Stockton, director of Club Mona, says: “We wanted to create something that feels genuinely different for Liverpool. Club Mona isn’t just about padel or fitness, it’s about building a space people want to spend time in and be part of a like-minded community.
“We’ve taken inspiration from lifestyle clubs we’ve seen in cities like London and Melbourne but our vision has always been to create something that still feels welcoming, social and rooted in Liverpool’s culture.”
“We really believe there’s a demand for a space that brings together wellness, training, recovery and community in one environment.”
Luis Stockton, director of Club Mona, adds: “Everything at Club Mona has been designed around experience and atmosphere. Whether someone is coming to play padel, or a workout, a recovery session, to work remotely or simply to meet friends, we want the club to become part of people’s daily routines and lifestyles.
“We’re passionate about creating a destination that feels aspirational but accessible at the same time; somewhere people feel comfortable, inspired and connected.”
Club Mona is expected to open by early 2027, with further details around memberships, programming and launch events to be announced in the coming months.
