Independent Bold Street retailer and event space, Nook and Cranny thanked customers for their support as it confirmed via Twitter that it has now closed down.
The gift and art shop, which had also hosted events and workshops including a recent Screenadelica poster exhibition and was also set to provide a venue for some forthcoming LightNight activities, made an announcement via social media having appeared closed for several days.
A spokesperson for the business, which had also previously traded in a unit at the Bluecoat before relocating, tweeted: “We are sorry to announce that Nook & Cranny has closed down. Thank you for your support and kind words. We will miss you all x.”
Responding to questions from followers about the future of the store, Nook and Cranny went on to hint that it is not likely to reappear on the city’s high streets at the moment however it “may be popping up at Christmas”.
