Independent Liverpool is set to launch its own online store this week that will allow users to purchase a range of goods from across the region’s independent scene.
As of 15 October, visitors to the Independent Liverpool website will be able to order prints from local artists and crafts pieces along with homegrown produce including coffee, honey, tote bags and mugs.
Confirmed products include handmade gifts, art and homeware from Oak and Atlas, along with off-beat prints of Liverpool created by Jazz Stan.
Oliver Press, co-founder of Independent Liverpool, says: “I can’t wait to get our new online store up and running. Our idea was to create a platform for local artists and craft makers to get their products to the most amount of people.
“Independent Liverpool is all about giving the wider public the chance to experience things they never usually would if they stuck to the chain shops and restaurants.
“Hopefully our new online shop will encourage other like-minded people to get involved and start making their own products.”
Plans are also in place to launch Independent Manchester, with the website in its final stages of production.
