Which? has named Wallasey’s Eureka! Science + Discovery the highest-rated attraction in the UK in its major new survey of family days out.
Scoring 85%, Eureka! Science + Discovery topped the Which? national rankings ahead of some of the UK’s biggest names in tourism and entertainment, including Harry Potter Studio Tour, Game of Thrones Studio Tour and major theme parks across the country.
The survey, based on more than 5,000 visitor experiences, praised Eureka! Science + Discovery for delivering “outstanding value for money, interactive experiences and accessibility”.
Which? described the attraction as “a huge hit with kids and their parents”, highlighting its “unique blend of active play, immersive discovery and hands-on science experiences”. Visitors surveyed praised the experience for offering “so much to see and do” while remaining accessible and affordable for families.
Eureka! Science + Discovery and its sister site Eureka! The National Children’s Museum in Halifax, West Yorkshire are a firm favourite for families across the north of England.
Both attractions reflect the Eureka! approach to supporting children’s experimentation, invention, building and exploration through a series of interactive zones intended to encourage curiosity and imaginative play.
Leigh-Anne Stradeski, Eureka! chief executive, says: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be named the UK’s top-rated attraction by Which?.
“We believe children learn best when they’re actively exploring, questioning and having brilliant fun together. To receive this recognition from families themselves makes it especially meaningful.
“This award is a huge tribute to our incredible team, who work every day to create joyful, memorable experiences for children and their grown-ups alike.”
Other attractions recognised in the Which? rankings included Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter, Game of Thrones Studio Tour and Camera Obscura and World of Illusions.
