Since opening in November 2022, Eureka! has ignited the curiosity of over 200,000 visitors, confirming its place amongst the region’s top attractions for families, schools and educators.

Based in Wallasey, Eureka! Science + Discovery brings science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) learning to life with a hands-on approach successfully developed at Eureka! The National Children’s Museum in Halifax.

Designed with hundreds of local young people aged 0-14, Eureka! offers interactive exhibits and experiences that make science accessible, engaging, and fun. From discovering the inner workings of the human body to exploring the science behind every day objects, each interaction has been created to encourage children’s natural curiosity.

During its second year of operation, Eureka! launched a new range of science shows and workshops for schools and groups, while building on their popular events and activities for visiting families. Most recently, Eureka! celebrated being shortlisted in two categories at the 2024 Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards.

“This time two years ago we excitedly opened our doors to unveil this unique space for young people to explore, learn, and find inspiration.”

Looking ahead, Eureka! Science + Discovery is excited to continue to evolve and develop, starting with a new venue hire offer for local businesses, groups and organisations looking for a unique venue for their events, with arguably the best view around of Liverpool’s iconic skyline.
