Liverpool Pan-Asian eatery HOST is planning to reappear in new locations around the city after closing its Hope Street venue.
The Thai, Chinese and Japanese influenced restaurant shut the doors of the Georgian Quarter site on Sunday (17 March), after selling its lease to an unnamed company.
Confirming that a licensed and leisure deal was struck last week a spokesperson for HOST, which is part of the city’s 60 Hope Street Restaurant Group, says: “There are continuously emerging opportunities in what is still a burgeoning marketplace for wining, dining and entertainment in Liverpool.
“As the food and drink scene evolves we’re looking to enhance HOST, further widening the brand’s appeal and its many unique selling points.
“To do so, we’re taking advantage of the saleability of the brand on Hope Street and look forward to sharing HOST’s latest move in the market very soon.”
HOST has not yet given details of when and where it will reappear but insists it will “continue to offer its pioneering menu albeit in different spaces across the city”.
The 60 Hope Street Restaurant Group is also the owner and operator of Liverpool’s The Quarter and 60 Hope Street restaurants.
