East Asian eatery Tiger Rock Hawker will open its second Liverpool branch by expanding into the city centre next month.
The Smithdown Road establishment is celebrating its first anniversary with the launch of a new outlet on North John Street.
Owned by husband and wife duo Kean and Vikki Teh, Tiger Rock Hawker serves up Thai, Chinese, Malaysian, Singaporean, Vietnamese and Laotian dishes along with a selection of beers, wines, spirits and cocktails and a signature Bellini menu.
The North John Street restaurant will takes its design cues from its Smithdown Road predecessor, with an array of high tables, booths and the same colour scheme.
Meanwhile, a spacious bar area catering for diners and drinkers alike will set the new branch apart.
Vikki says: “We’re so excited to bring our beloved Tiger Rock Hawker to Liverpool city centre. Since we opened our first site on the bustling Smithdown Road just one year ago, we have continued to receive fantastic feedback on our unique culinary offering and popular drinks selection, and it’s due to demand that we are opening our new site on North John Street.
“The ethos behind our beloved Tiger Rock Hawker was inspired by our extensive travels across Asia and our passion for fine food, great drinks and a welcoming atmosphere.
“Thanks to Kean’s impressive career background as a chef, he has worked tirelessly to create a totally unique menu that is innovative and interesting, all the while keeping Asian influences and flavours at its heart.”
