Royal Liver Building to offer Mother’s Day afternoon tea for the first time

This Mother’s Day, The Royal Liver Building is opening its doors for a unique afternoon tea and tour experience.

April last year saw public tours take place at the Liver Building for the first time since its opening in 1911, and since then it has been a hit with visitors from Liverpool and beyond.

After seeing the tour growing in success and popularity, RLB360, the team behind the Liver Building tour, has decided to introduce an afternoon tea offering in the landmark’s never before seen (by the public) boardroom.

This Mother’s Day (22 March) will see the launch of the RLB afternoon tea experience. Not only will visitors be given the full, interactive tour, but the trip will end with afternoon tea and fizz.

The menu features a selection of sandwiches and cakes, as well as salmon blinis, scones with clotted cream and jam, a pot of tea and Prosecco.

Liverpool’s very own ‘Atomic Kitten’, Liz McClarnon (pictured), was one of the first to sample the new offering recently, alongside her mum, Janet.
