Hot Water Comedy Club announced as YM Liverpool Awards sponsor

Hot Water Comedy Club has been announced as the official sponsor of the ‘Young Business Leader of the Year’ award at the YM Liverpool Property & Business Awards 2026.

Founded in Liverpool in 2010 by brothers Paul and Binty Blair, Hot Water began life in a city centre nightclub before moving to a series of larger venues as its audience grew. It has since developed into a global entertainment brand and the most-followed comedy club in the world, building an online audience of more than 10 million followers worldwide.

The club is now based at Blackstock Market, a 60,000 sq ft food, drink and entertainment destination on Blackstock Street. The venue is home to three purpose-built comedy theatres, including what Hot Water describes as the world’s largest regular comedy club space, as well as a large food market and a varied programme of live entertainment and events.

Hot Water will sponsor ‘Young Business Leader of the Year’, an award recognising an emerging business leader who has demonstrated ambition, innovation and made a significant contribution to their organisation or the wider Liverpool City Region business community.

The YM Liverpool Property & Business Awards 2026 will take place at the Titanic Hotel Liverpool & Rum Warehouse on Wednesday 25 November, bringing together leading figures and organisations from across the city region’s property and business sectors.

Awards will be presented across a wide range of categories spanning property development, construction, professional services and the wider business community.

The evening will also feature a special on-stage Q&A with Urban Splash co-founder Jonathan Falkingham, who will join YM Liverpool editor and awards organiser Lawrence Saunders to discuss his career in property and regeneration, Urban Splash’s work in Liverpool and across the UK, including its involvement in the regeneration of Festival Gardens, and the wider opportunities and challenges facing development across the city region.
