Liverpool couple to launch new £2m trampoline park

One of the UK’s biggest trampoline and leisure parks will spring into action this weekend, as it launches in the region.

Calderstones couple Steven and Cheryl Cosgrove, who also manage the Funtown Liverpool soft play centre in Garston, are behind the £2 million Velocity Trampoline Park in Widnes which opens on 18 July.

Featuring 150 trampolines as well as individual party rooms and an in-house restaurant at the Bennetts Lane site, the new attraction follows an indoor trampoline park trend across the pond.

Managing director of Velocity Leisure, Steven says: “We toyed with a variety of ideas until we began to notice a growing trend for the indoor trampoline park craze across America and Dubai – straight away we knew it would be a great addition to the North West’s ever expanding list of fun and interesting things to do.
“After an extensive search across Merseyside for the perfect venue we finally found our home in Widnes.”

The venue, for all ages and abilities, is set to host exercise classes and team-building events to parties.
