Influential ’80s pop group Culture Club will perform at an open-air concert in the Liverpool City Region this summer.
Boy George and his bandmates will play at Haydock Park Racecourse in July during a series of outdoor gigs at racing venues.

Culture Club were one of the biggest bands of the 1980s, scoring seven straight top 10 hits in the UK and nine top 10 singles in the US, as well as achieving recognition at the BRIT Awards and the Grammys.
With hits including ‘Karma Chameleon’, ‘Do You Really Want To Hurt Me’ and ‘Church of the Poison Mind’, the group has sold more than 50 million records worldwide.
The Haydock Park concert will take place on 22 July, with tickets due to go on sale at 8am on Wednesday 12 April via the Jockey Club Live website and a pre-sale taking place at 8am the day before.
