The tour of Liverpool’s iconic Royal Liver Building, RLB360, has seen a surge in ticket sales as people take advantage of the recent good weather.
The attraction, which includes a digital experience inside the historic clock tower and views over the city from the 15th floor, reopened its doors to the public last month after COVID-19 lockdown restrictions were lifted.
The team behind the tour implemented new safety measures to ensure guests can enjoy the attraction safely and at ease, and over the last month have noted a surge in ticket sales.
With the recent good weather in the city and a lot of people opting for staycations, RLB360 has seen more people than expected book in for the tour of the city’s most famous building.
As great as the increase in visitors is, the attraction is still urging people to visit what is on their doorstep and to continue to help the tourism industry recover after the recent lockdown period.
Chris Devaney from RLB360 says: “We were so thankful to be given the green light to reopen last month and it’s been great to see that even though we have reduced our tour numbers we’ve still had a lot of visitors and interest, the recent good weather has definitely helped.
“We know we’re in a fortunate position as so many other attractions have faced challenges in recovering but we’re still a long way from where we were and it would be great for people to keep on visiting and experience our wonderful attraction for themselves.”
