Huge football fan park coming to Knowsley Estate for Euro 2020

Three giant screens, a mega sound and lighting system plus a fully-stocked bar have been set up at The Knowsley Estate for 1,000 people to watch England versus Scotland on 18 June.

Kick-off is set for 8pm at Wembley Stadium and will be the Three Lions’ second match of the tournament.

Organisers are promising a “big game atmosphere” and a free beer, cider, house spirit and mixer or soft drink with each ticket, which start at £5.50.

Live music will be played on the night, before and after the match, with a huge build up also taking place underneath a giant big top tent.

Tickets will be available soon for the England v Czech Republic game on 22 June.

Danny Thompson, co-founder of The Knowsley Social, says: “The atmosphere here is set to be unrivalled anywhere in the North West and will be as close to the real thing as you can get.

“We’ve already had an unbelievable amount of success with our events and the feedback from people is that they’ve had the absolute best time.

“Our England v Scotland match is going to be no exception and is guaranteed to be the best place to watch the game this summer with special effects, a world-class sound system and the three giant screens.”

The event has been put together by Creamfields supremo Chris Quayle and Mr Thompson, with more than 18,000 tickets already sold for all performances across their Knowsley Social festival.

The England v Scotland clash will be shown on big screens underneath a purpose-built tent which holds 1,000 people and is the North West’s biggest event space.

The tent contains 200 socially-distanced pods, sectioned off by white fences, and includes VIP areas for football fans to cheer on England and party the night away.
