Filming the next Celebrity Great British Bake Off series has been the “most memorable,” according to the show’s expert judge Paul Hollywood.

Speaking to Your Move magazine as he gets set to bring his British Baking Live Tour to Liverpool in November, the Wirral baking star hints at a top line-up for the programme which will air next year.

As the latest series of the BBC show came to an end last week, Paul gives fans an insight into the next instalment, saying: “We’ve just finished filming ‘Celebrity Bake Off’, which comes out next year, and I think that’s been the most memorable ‘Bake Off’ I’ve ever been attached to. I can’t tell you who’s in it but I think when you’ve seen the line-up next year you’ll understand.”

Adding that he considered some of the forthcoming contestants to be “heroes” and went on to judge their baking attempts in the hit show’s famous marquee, alongside fellow judge Mary Berry, Paul says: “They’d come on saying ‘I’m really scared of you’ and I’m like ‘I watch you all the time’! I find that slightly odd.”
