Sovini Group raises £61,000 for local charities at inaugural Winter Gala

The Sovini Group hosted its first charity Winter Gala at the Rum Warehouse, bringing together business leaders and partners from across the North West.

The event, sponsored by Hybrid Tec, was held in support of Woodlands Hospice, Liverpool’s Zoe’s Place and the Metro Mayor’s charity of choice, Haircuts4Homeless.

A total of £61,000 was raised during the evening, exceeding initial fundraising targets. The funds will contribute towards the ongoing work of the three charities, which provide specialist care and community support services across the region.

The gala, hosted by veteran comedian Willie Miller, featured live entertainment and a programme of fundraising activities, including a charity auction, raffle and interactive games. Among the raffle prizes was a diamond necklace donated by Wongs Jewellers.

Roy Williams, CEO of The Sovini Group, says: “We are incredibly proud of the collective effort that made this evening possible, and are so thankful to everyone who played a role in, attended or otherwise supported the event.

“The success of the Winter Gala reflects the strength of our partnerships and our shared commitment to delivering meaningful positive impact across our communities.”
