Women: Where do you find yourself  in the arts?
Constellations
Taking place on two days, this event will showcase women’s art and creativity with a programme of exhibitions, workshops, discussions, food and music.

6 August
Annual Freefall Cathedral Abseil
Liverpool Cathedral
Fundraisers will take on the 150-foot drop down the city landmark in aid of the Cathedral Foundation. There’ll also be entertainment on the ground as this year’s event follows a ‘60s theme.

People Poems – live acoustic set

Leeds singer-songwriter Harry Orme and regular collaborators Francesca Haincourt and Matthew Aplin will bring an evening of indie-folk infused storytelling live music with jazz and classical influences.

Croxteth Hall Garden Society Flower Show
Croxteth Hall
The annual event returns bringing something for everyone, from floral art to baking, photography and poetry. Home grown produce and artistic talent will be displayed in the hall’s Library Suite.

Speke Hall
Adults and children of all abilities can get active at this community sports festival, with yoga, orienteering, archery and tennis among the activities. Participants completing two sports will receive a medal.

Ex-Easter Island Head album launch

The Liverpool music collective which has mastered its sound by striking electric guitars with percussion mallets performs, following the release of its full-length album ‘Twenty-Two Strings’.
