Tate Liverpool announces autumn 2016 programme

Tate Liverpool has unveiled its autumn programme for 2016, announcing exhibitions featuring the work of Yves Klein, Edward Krasinski and Cécile B. Evans.

The Klein and Krasinski shows will commence on 21 October and run until 5 March, with the Evans showcase beginning on the same date and ending on 19 March.

Curated by Darren Pih, the Klein exhibition is the UK’s first museum solo collection of the French artist’s work for more than 20 years, bringing together major exhibits never before seen in Britain.

It will share the top floor gallery with the Krasinski show, a career-spanning look at the Eastern European creator’s sculptures and photography.

Meanwhile, Cécile B. Evans’s ‘Sprung a Leak’ is the first solo exhibition of the London-based artist’s work in a UK public institution.

The installation will see Tate Liverpool’s Wolfon gallery become a stage shared by robots and human performers as the artist explores the potential of man-machine interaction.
