A new gourmet burger restaurant where diners can create their own handheld meat masterpieces could be opening on Smithdown Road.
Loaded Burgers, which has two branches in London, specialises in oversized burgers with toppings including egg, sausage and nachos.
Other interesting items on eatery’s menu include chicken and waffles, deep fried chicken wings and peanut butter milkshakes.
Loaded Burgers launched its first restaurant in 2014
Designs enclosed with a planning application submitted to Liverpool City Council to turn a former Riverside housing association office on Smithdown Road into a restaurant show the food chain’s signage and logo.
If approved, the Liverpool site would become Loaded’s third UK restaurant – joining two existing branches in London.
According to the planning application for 439-441 Smithdown Road the eatery would include seating for up to 56 diners.
