Liverpool’s final Sutton Kersh property auction of the year is ‘looking strong’ ahead of tomorrow’s deadline with over 60 lots confirmed.

Last month’s auction saw £5 million worth of commercial and residential property sold including Woolton Library, a former haunt of John Lennon, which went for more than its guide price.

Following the auction, Sutton Kersh sold a further £500,000 pounds worth of within a week and are still receiving enquiries into unsold lots.

Cathy Holt, head of auctions at Sutton Kersh, says: “Our final auction of the year is taking place on 10 December and is looking strong with over 60 lots confirmed so far and we are still taking lots on.”

One of the properties that will feature in the next auction is Dudlow Lane, Mossley Hill, which currently has 11 self-contained apartments and planning permission for a further development onsite.

Other properties up for auction include 175 Kensington, a 10 bedroom house of multiple occupancy investment property, a prime building spot available on Exchange Street East, and the well-known Cavendish Community Centre in Birkenhead will also be going under the hammer in December.
