The iconic Coca Cola trucks will arrive in Liverpool in December, as it takes on a 45-stop tour of the UK in the run up to Christmas.

The trucks, which have featured in the popular ‘Holidays Are Coming’ adverts for the soft drink brand, will arrive on Church Street in Liverpool ONE at 12pm on 3 December and will stay until 8pm. The truck will be adorned with Christmas lights and samples of Coca Cola and Diet Coca Cola will be handed out on the day.

There will a Christmas choir singing festive hits and a ‘snowy winter wonderland’ for visitors to the truck. Bobby Britain, GB marketing strategy and activation director for Coca-Cola says, “Every year the support for our ‘Holidays Are Coming’ advert enables us to deliver a truly exceptional experience to people across the UK. This year is no exception. As we help celebrate the lead up to Christmas, we’re looking forward to being able to give a little happiness to people around the UK.”

The Holidays is Coming Coca Cola series of adverts, featuring a winking Santa Claus on the back of the brightly-let trucks, have been screened each year since 1995 and is one of the best-known Christmas adverts in the UK. As a result, over 200,000 people visited the trucks on the 2013 tour, says the brand.
