Freeze and Cream return to The Asylum at Newsham Park for a Halloween special on 31 October.
Located in the grounds of the Old Newsham Park Hospital, the site was originally founded as an orphanage in 1874 before later being converted into a hospital specializing in treating patients with psychiatric illnesses.
The imposing Gothic structure towers over Newsham Park and contains a maze of gloomy corridors, dormitories and psychiatric wards – many of which have been untouched since the last patients left the hospital in 1997.
Doors open on-site at 1PM, with acts performing through to 10:30PM, including Popof, Dana Ruh, Einzelkind and Sven Vath.
The event is jointly hosted by iconic Liverpool electronic brand, Cream and Freeze, local specialists at delivering events in unusual venues.
