Liverpool’s most iconic club, Cream, has announced the line-up for its ‘Grand Finale’ this Boxing night.
The club, based at Nation in Parr Street, is closing at the end of the year to be replaced by a new ‘subterranean music venue’ on the same grounds as part of the £40 million redevelopment of Wolstenholme Square.
Designed by city architects Falconer Chester Hall, the new venue will looks to retain the original club’s ‘industrial’ aesthetic, whilst at the same time integrating state-of-the-art sound into a adaptable multi-room format.
‘Cream @ Nation – The Grand Finale’ will take place on 26 December with Duke Dumont headlining the Main Room. Legendary DJ, Paul Van Dyk tops the bill in the Courtyard with K-Klass set to perform live in the Annexe.
Other acts confirmed include Todd Terry, Nick Warren, Eddie Halliwell, Aly & Fila, Danny Rampling, Jon Carter and John Kelly.
