Sourced Development Group has officially started work at Scholar’s Court on the edge of Liverpool city centre.

The group, which secured planning permission for the apartment development last year, says it is delivering an “exciting scheme to revitalise the northern corridor of Liverpool’s central regeneration zone”.

The fourth development by Sourced in less than five years, Scholar’s Court will feature 310 one and two-bedroom units across four buildings on a previously derelict site which straddles Blackstock Street and Paul Street.

Located a short distance from Everton FC’s new Bramley-Moore Dock stadium, communal facilities at the scheme, which has a gross development value of £70 million, will include landscaped garden areas, a centralised courtyard, podium parking facilities, in-situ concierge facilities and secure cycle storage.

Scholar’s Court is expected to complete by June 2025 and will create more than 250 jobs during construction.

The development is another addition to Sourced Development Group’s burgeoning property portfolio, with Derby Court on West Derby Road fully occupied and phase one of its flagship £100m Westminster Park project completed three months ahead of schedule.
