Exotic cocktail bar coming to Stanley Street

A new cocktail bar called Man’s Ruin is set to launch in Liverpool city centre.

The venue, a new venture from the team behind Wall of Fame and Graffiti Lounge, will open up at 10 Stanley Street, the site of the former Wonderland nightclub.

Word of the new bar emerged when an official Twitter account for Man’s Ruin went live and began advertising for staff. According to its social media profile, the venue will serve “exotic rum cocktails” and be open Thursday through to Sunday.

Man’s Ruin will share 10 Stanley Street with another new nightspot called Void, also devised by the Graffiti team of Dan Friend, Joe McMahon and Adam Ramsey and set to open in August.

Void is geared towards over-21s and promises to fill a gap in the market by offering an exclusive experience with high-end table service and a premium drinks range.

Joe says: “Our previous ventures have seen us cater to such a wide demographic, including the younger generation who like to party at Graffiti and an eclectic mix at Wall of Fame, ranging from families, corporates and tourists.

“The idea for Void was conceived when we noticed a huge gap in the nightlife market for those who want to enjoy a cosmopolitan atmosphere in the heart of the city centre with a bit of extra opulence.”
