The first headline act has been announced for Creamfields 2017.
The UK’s biggest dance festival, which takes place in Daresbury over the August bank holiday weekend, will see two giants of the electronic scene join forces for the first time.
deadmau5 and Eric Prydz will headline the Steel Yard Arena on 25 August with what will be their only European show of the year. The pair have performed at the festival as solo artists before but never together.
Creamfields was recently voted ‘Best Major Festival’ at the UK Festival Awards, beating off competition from the likes of Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds and the Isle of White Festival.
A huge line-up is expected for the festival’s 20th year, with the full release of acts due to be announced in February 2017.
Creamfields 2017 will take place from 24 – 27 August.
