The eyes of the world were turned on Liverpool as Cunard celebrated its 175th anniversary with a spectacular meeting of its ‘Three Queens’ on the River Mersey.
The Queen Mary 2, Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria cruise liners sailed into the city for the first time to pay homage to its historic ties with Cunard, performing a ‘river dance’ in front of the iconic Three Graces. Meanwhile, fireworks lit up the sky and the Red Arrows performed for the hundreds of thousands of people along the waterfront.
The weekend also featured a light show beamed on to the Three Graces, called Amazing Graces, and a series of street food options and performances for the crowds.
You can view a gallery of the Three Queens’ visit below, as Your Move magazine was on hand to cover the event.
