Jacaranda Records will host a free gig to commemorate its first birthday on 25 June.
All three floors of the Slater Street venue will host live music, with acts including Mellowtone, Xamvolo, Nick Ellis, and Tommy Tenderloin and the Peppercorn Kids due to perform throughout the day.
Records will be on sale on the ground floor and in the record store itself, and there will be 10% off vinyls all day.
Joe Maryanji, marketing manager at Jacaranda Records, says: “On the 25 June, we’re going to be celebrating everything that’s happened in the Record Store with our favourite events all happening on one day across all three floors of the Jacaranda.
“Starting at 2pm all the way through until the early hours, we have 10% off on all Vinyl as well as some special performances from some incredible acts. The resurgence of vinyl over the last few years and the opening of Jacaranda records seemed to perfectly coincide with each other.”
The Jacaranda will open its doors at 10am for the birthday celebrations, with the live music set to begin at 2pm and go on until 2am.
